Saying Goodbye on this last #Caturday

She wasn't just a cat. Besides, what does that even mean? "Just a cat". What matter does it make what "it" is, if that thing sends you love, fills your bucket, what does it matter if it be human, animal, or inanimate object?

Jazmine was so much more than just a cat. She was my friend. We didn't talk about shared philosophies or go on long walks together, but we gamed together all the time (well, I gamed, and she watched/slept on my lap). We played together, a sort of cat-and-mouse type game where I hid from her (badly) and she would "find" me. She would always flop on her side and drag herself across the carpet when she won, and it would be one of her defining traits. She loved dragging her little body across the carpet. I bet that felt really good on the fur.

She was gentle. She nipped at me only when we played, never at anyone else. She was shy, but man, when you earned her trust, she loved you as if you were one of her own.
