As of January 1, 2017, my books will no longer be available through Wild Child Publishing due to closure. However, both Spirit Summoners and Soul Seekers are back up on Amazon through Jon Carlin Shea. Both are new editions with some added features and new pricing. If you'd rather have a paperback, those are available as well, and please note print copies come with a free digital download.
The Chosen of the Light is a three book high-fantasy series which finds the world of Ictar under attack from an evil it never anticipated. Only the Chosen of the Light can restore order, and they are nowhere to be found. Book One, Spirit Summoner, begins the journey of Darr Reintol, a young Summoner who's fate is tied to the Chosen of the Light. As Darr travels, he learns to summon the spirits and control the Four Elements, but in the process, he might become Ictar's greatest threat rather than its savior.
Spirit Summoner, Book One
As a Spirit Summoner, Darr learns he can enter the spirit realm. There he has access to the elemental magic contained within the Sephirs, legendary artifacts that once promised balance for a world turning towards chaos. Now, the Sephirs’ powers are dwindling since their untimely disappearance, and Darr is at the center of the quest to find and recover them. Suddenly, Darr’s curiosity is a whirlpool threatening to drown him, but his compulsion to see things through locks him into a journey attracted to disaster.
Soul Seekers, Book Two
Darr finds no joy in his newfound abilities. His power is a curse, bringing destruction, solitude, and worse, death. To make matters more complicated, Darr’s fight against the Soul Seekers has been a futile one. The Soul Seekers have returned in force, summoned by the dark mists of the Devoid. The armies of Ictar believe they know how to fight the coming war, but the Soul Seekers and their master have deep-seeded plans.
The battle ahead will be fought on two fronts: the armies of Ictar must hold off the advancing Soul Seekers while Darr must find a way to balance the Four Elements. Between Darr’s fractured psyche and the Devoid’s unexpected ability to reach into the physical world, the odds are stacked against them.
